Biography

Karine Faure is a research scientist at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) since 2007. She graduated from Toulouse National Chemistry School (ENSCT) and received an MSc degree in analytical chemistry from University College Cork (Ireland). Her PhD was completed in the group of Prof JD Glennon in 2006. She received her Habilitation (HDR) in 2013 and since supervised 7 PhD students and over 15 MSc students. Interested in the development of multidimensional separation techniques for both analytical and preparative purposes, she has been involved in many industrial collaborative projects. She teaches liquid chromatography at CPELyon school of engineering. She is member of the editorial board of Journal of Chromatography and Related Technologies and Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis. She is a permanent member of the International Committee of CCC conferences and president of Club Lyonnais de Chromatography, a national network of over 110 members.

She is the author of over 35 publications in international journals and 7 invited book chapters. Her work was presented as oral and poster communications in over 70 national and international conferences amongst which 8 invited talks.
