Biography

Marie Hangouët graduated from the IUT (University of Strasbourg) with a license degree in Chemistry in 2006.
She was then hired as an assistant engineer by the CNRS and joined the “Thermal, Gas & VOCs Analysis and SEC” platform at the “Service Central d’Analyse” (USR059, Solaize).
She was in charge of instrumentation dedicated to the characterization of polymers (TGA, DMA, SEC) and analysis of gas (GC, GC-MS, µ-CPG, thermodesorption). She was also involved both in research projects and analytical services.

From 2015 to 2018, she worked for the “Thermal, Gas & VOCs Analysis and SEC » platform and the “Formulation – Deformulation » research group at the Institut of Analytical Sciences (ISA – UMR5280, Lyon, France). During these 3 years, she worked on the characterization of polymeric micro/nanoparticles by granulometry and Zeta potential measurement.
In 2018, she joined the « Micro & Nanobiotechnology » research group at ISA (UMR5280, Lyon, France). This group develops biosensors and unconventional micro&nanotechnologies to create flexible analytical tools based on BioLab-on-chips, micro/nanosensors, micromixers, and microfilters with application in health (diagnosis, patient monitoring) and environment (micropollutants detection and monitoring). She’s the responsible for the wire-bonding of the chips, then she applies a mix of epoxy resins for the passivation and finally she checked the good working of these sensors by electrochemistry (cyclic voltammetry, amperometry).

Besides, she’s member of the Security and Health council at ISA. Since 2013, she’s also the treasurer of the Social, Cultural and Sports Committee (CLAS de Villeurbanne)
