Biography

Sabine Heinisch is a research scientist at Institut des Sciences Analytiques (ISA), head of Chromatography and Hyphenated techniques team. She was graduated from ICPI (Lyon) and obtained a M.Sc. in analytical chemistry. She received a Ph.D. in 1993 from the University of Lyon. She teaches separation science at CPE Lyon and is regularly involved in ongoing training on separation techniques. Her current research activities are focused on the development of multi-dimensional chromatographic techniques hyphenated to mass spectrometry detection (LC x LC-MS; LC x SFC-MS) from both a theoretical and a practical perspective. She has supervised 13 Ph.D. students and has been involved in numerous projects with industrial partners (Technologie Servier, IFPEN, Solvay, Pierre Fabre, Oril Industrie, Waters, Agilent) as well as academic partners (University of Genova, University of Brussels, University of Strasbourg). She developed an optimization software (OSIRIS) for HPLC/UHPLC which is widely used in industrial development laboratories. She is the principal author of more than 50 publications, 3 book chapters and 50 invited communications in national and international conferences. She is the president of the “Club Lyonnais de Chromatographie”.
