She is a Research Engineer in chemical analysis of the research team TRACES of ISA, specialized in the analysis of micropollutants in environmental matrices by chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. She has co-authored 24 peer-reviewed publications. She coordinated a FEAGA project dealing with the global contamination of honeybees and is part of several collaborative projects funded by ANR and ONEMA as a work package leader.

Biography

Laure Wiest studied Chemistry at the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon (CPE Lyon, school of engineering), where she graduated in 2005. During her studies, she worked one year as a trainee engineer, at the Ian Wark Research Institute (University of South Australia) in the development of a manganese filter for water treatment, based on Self-Assembled Monolayers. She joined the Institute of Analytical Sciences (ISA) in 2006, after a one-year traineeship on the development of an analytical method of antibiotics in honeys.
