She is currently working on the emerging genetic disease “Resistance to thyroid hormone due to TRα1 mutation ». The goal of this research is to develop a new approach to diagnose this disease.

Biography

Houda Boumaza joined the NMR metabolomics group in January 2016 as a phd student after doing my end-of-course internship in 2015. She holds a master degree in oncology, with a speciality in high throughput technologies, from Institut des sciences pharmaceutiques et biologiques (ISPB) of Rockefeller faculty. Her Phd thesis is funded by the national agence of research (ANR) and co-directed by Dr.Bénédicte Elena and Dr.Frédéric Flamant
